RE(W)RITE!
Buy tickets to RE(W)RITE! here
RE(W)RITE! is not theatre. It is an immersive performance and a ritual space, devoid of fiction and characters. It is an invitation for a small group of adventurers to a common multisensorial journey.
RE(W)RITE! invites you to a universe of details and quiet shared experiences. It is an exploration of the intense intimacy that can arise even between strangers, without saying a word.
It is a universe where transparency is a natural state.
And yes, you might probably enw up walking home with a small smile on your lips.

INTERNATIONAL PRESS:
In RE(W)RITE I have explored a silent space made of several rooms, where each participant went through a collective, but also deeply personal, journey.
I felt as a part of a community, as we approached each other in silence, and discovered something new about ourselves, through the encounter with strangers.
And I understand how much I have lived, and how wide the borders of my experience have been.
Through this existential rite that connected us all, I met the authentic spark of delicate touch, a prolonged intersection of gazes, an open invitation to simple spontaneous gestures.
And all of this made that moment become unforgettable, like the first manifestation of a deep bond being born.
After the performance, I felt that my taste for life was stronger than before. A little shy and a little smiling, I looked at the other spectators with the desire to introduce myself.
In RE(W)RITE! we searched and found our own unspoken words, a time not yet lived, and a place not yet visited.

THE VENUS LABYRINTH
The Venus Labyrinth is one of the major works by Nullo Facchini, originally created with theatre Cantabile 2. It was created as a part of Facchini’s investigation of Human-Specific Performance, and it deals with the universal sensitivity of humans as emotional beings.
The Venus Labyrinth is conceived as an individual, interactive journey into the female brain. The Labyrinth contains 28 installation rooms, corresponding to the 28 known areas of the human brain, and each room is inhabited by a woman. Each performer has, in collaboration with director Nullo Facchini, created her room starting from a true personal memory, an experience, in some cases even a secret.
Each spectator enters the labyrinth alone, with a few minutes’ interval, and joins these women in a unique, sensorial and emotional experience. No spectator is presented with the entire labyrinth; no two spectators will view or share the same experience. The journey takes approximately 1 hour for each participant.
The Venus Labyrinth has been performed at the old fortress Masnedø in Vordingborg (DK), at the fortress Trekroner in Copenhagen (DK), in a home for the homeless in Bielefeld, (D), at a freght train base in Aarhus (DK), at The Arches, under the train station in Glasgow (UK) and in the Gatshina Palace in Skt Petersburg (Russia). It has also been produced in a special version with women from Syria, Jordan and Irak in connection with the festival Images of the Middle East (DK).

They take you in physically, and let you be the all-roaming camera that zooms in at a crucial moment in a women’s life. Bodily, verbally, totally.

After an hour's walk through the labyrinth, you are left with a thirst for the staged presence and a tantalizing curiosity about what is hidden in the last 25 rooms.
